Biography Rick Coffman has served for nearly 15 years as VP and General Manager of Castle & Cooke Arizona, a Homebuilding and Development company located in Sierra Vista, AZ. It is the largest developer /builder in the county. Castle & Cooke also owns the Pueblo Del Sol water company, serving over 5,000 customers, and the Pueblo Del Sol Country Club and Golf Course. Their proposed Tribute Master Planned Community, scheduled to begin in the near future, contains most of the land for future growth of the City of Sierra Vista. In addition to the Cochise Water Project, Mr. Coffman has served on several local boards and commissions, including the Upper San Pedro Water District Organizing Board (where he was Treasurer), The Cochise County Business Friendly Task Force, The Greater Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce (Board Chair 1997-2008), and the University of Arizona South Foundation (Treasurer). Prior to coming to Sierra Vista, Mr. Coffman, was a builder and developer in Phoenix/Scottsdale, and Tucson in Arizona both as President of a national builder’s local operations, and as small builder. Earlier he was president of a national builder’s subsidiary in the Washington DC area. While living in the Phoenix area he served on both the Town of Paradise Valley’s Planning Commission and the Town Council. Mr. Coffman was born and reared in Columbus Ohio, and earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard College and his Masters from Columbia University.
