Our speaker for June is Gail Griffin , Arizona State Senator. Senator Griffin will speak on the 2011 legislative wrap up and how it impacts the construction industry in southeast Arizona.

State Senator Gail Griffin represents District #25 in the Arizona Senate.  District #25 includes portions of 5 counties Cochise, Santa Cruz, Pima, Pinal and Maricopa.

Senator Griffin serves as Chairman of the Water, Land Use and Rural Development Committee, as Vice Chairman of the Commerce and Energy Committee, and as a member of the Veterans and Military Affairs Committee, the Natural Resources and Transportation Committee and the Border Security, Federalism and State Sovereignty Committee.

She also serves on the Water Banking Commission and the newly formed Joint Border Security Committee.

Gail is a real estate broker at Sierra Vista Realty (36 years) and has lived in Cochise County since 1968. She and her husband Bill Waynick reside in Ramsey Canyon. Together they have 6 children and 6 grandchildren.
